One of the major mistakes that business owners make is not having a properly structured marketing strategy suitable to international market.          Commitment is another important criterion. A successful exporter would always believe in investing time towards building a long term relationship with the overseas partners and foreign customers. Exporter must be committed towards their business even during lean periods.
